Education & Curriculum Vitae

Ph.D. Chemistry, UCLA
M.S. Chemistry
B.S. Chemistry, SUNY Albany

Roselyn Rodrigues was born and raised in Rhode Island. She earned her B.S. degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany in 2016. She then moved to Los Angeles, CA where she attended University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In 2018 she was awarded her M.S. in Chemistry from UCLA, and she just completed her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry in June of 2021 under the supervision of Dr. Chong Liu. Her research at UCLA focused on the integration of electrochemical systems with microbes to convert carbon dioxide into value added chemicals. During her time at UCLA she was able to teach general chemistry, general chemistry laboratory, and inorganic chemistry. She is excited to bring her passion for teaching the fundamentals of chemistry to Gonzaga University.
