Experience the World and Earn Credits
By studying in another country, students broaden their horizons by exposing themselves to a different culture, a different language, and a different way of looking at life.
The Mathematics Department has made it easy for you to complete your major while studying abroad by identifying programs all over the world which offer equivalent classes to those required for our major.
This means that you can choose to go abroad during your freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior years. At some schools and for some majors your options to study abroad are very limited, but not for Gonzaga mathematics majors.
Gonzaga in Florence
Gonzaga also has its own campus in the heart of Florence, Italy. Each Spring semester, our math department sends one of our faculty members to the Florence campus to teach differential equations and statistics. So you can live in Florence and study those subjects and take classes in Italian art, politics, and history.
