What is Applied Humanities?

Applied Humanities at Gonzaga bring skills and knowledge from the humanities to bear on contemporary issues. Questions about meaning and significance, history and culture, beauty and religion—these are the scope of the humanities. Such questions blossom locally and globally. Their answers are vital to our understanding of ourselves as humans.
