I hope to go to graduate school next year to receive my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Until then, I will continue working as an aid.
How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?
As a Pre Health student pursuing a degree in Sociology, my academic journey has been shaped significantly by the interdisciplinary nature and practical applications of sociology, specifically applying the sociological imagination within the realm of health equity and community engagement. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experiences, I am confident in my ability to contribute to the field of healthcare as a compassionate and culturally competent professional. As I embark on my future career path as a medical professional, I am committed to upholding the principles of social justice and utilizing my sociological perspective to advocate for equitable healthcare practices and policies.
What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?
My biggest accomplishment is maintaining a great GPA, while simultaneously being able to do well at my jobs and internships, have great relationships with my Professors and peers, and stay physically and mentally healthy.
