In this course students will learn about how the feminist framework of intersectionality is employed within the fields of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies to study a wide range of issues in the context of US imperialism. Specifically, students will study the interlocking nature of systems of
oppression, including by not limited to racism, classism, and sexism, by applying intersectionality to the study of identities, institutions, and ideologies from a transnational feminist perspective.
Pre-requisites: ANY 100 or 200 level WGST course, or by instructor permission.
