The information you will navigate on our web site will assist you in understanding our communities, our facilities, policies, activities, and mission. We thank you for your interest in this information and welcome comments.
Due to a Residency Requirement, 97.5% of GU students in their first year at campus live on campus and a full 88% of second year students live on campus. In addition, several hundred upper division students live on campus well beyond the Residency Requirement. Together, this represents over 2,100 residents living in twenty unique residential communities. You will find your experience with us exciting, and inclusive. We vow to support your academic endeavors, provide you healthy living environments supportive of personal growth outside the classroom, and exciting programs and other residential services.
This site will introduce you to our various facilities, special interest communities, policies and personnel. For those of you not bound by the Residency Requirement, we invite you to peruse our "off campus living" information by using the appropriate button on this page to your left. You will find quite a bit of information in that section that will assist you in learning to live effectively off campus on your own or with friends and handling your own utilities, furniture and rental arrangements. However, we also invite you to remain a member of our on campus population and explore opportunities for living in our upper division communities.
Enjoy your travels through this site. We hope you'll choose to be an integral and active part of this community. If you have any questions, we invite you to contact our office. We look forward to a great journey together. On behalf of our entire department, we in the central office give you a warm welcome!
