Crime Prevention

The Crime Prevention Office seeks to increase campus community involvement regarding the risks of campus crime, and to generate an active sense of awareness in each individual to assume a greater level of responsibility for their personal safety.

  • City of SpokaneHelmet Law in effect throughout campus and city.
  • Identity Theft Washington State is currently ranked 13th in the country - protect yourself and your credit; educate yourself further at the Federal Trade Commission web site on Identification Theft.
  • COPS Logan is in need of volunteers for many projects. Contact them at (509) 625-3333.
  • Bike Locks are available at the CPS&S Office located at Welch Hall for extensive discounts. Contact 313-3996.
  • Auto Thefts are a current major issue particularly in Spokane. See the National Insurance Crime Bureau web site for more tips.
