We are proud to offer a number of scholarships to help fund your Gonzaga experience. Several of our scholarships are awarded based on individual merit, and others require a separate application. They are outlined below. Read carefully, select the ones that are right for you, and please ask if you have any questions.

Acceptance into the Honors Program (intellectual achievement, leadership skills, self expression, and service to others. Typically a 3.7+ GPA -- in the most rigorous courses offered -- and a 1350+ SAT or 30+ ACT.) Selection based on application and interview process.

Christopher M. West Scholarships

Spokane County, Sandpoint, ID, King County, and Portland, OR area high school graduates. Awards will be given based on the following selection criteria: demonstration of humanitarianism through membership in honorary service clubs; participation in community service organizations or individual humanitarian interest; residence in Spokane County; Sandpoint, ID; King County; or Portland, OR area; and two letters of recommendation.

Ignatian Leaders Scholarship (ILS)

This award requires a nomination from a high school counselor or teacher.
A student must be in the top of his/her high school class in academic performance and have at least two years of demonstrated leadership and service.

Music Scholarships

Granted each year to students regardless of their intended major. Awards are given based on 1) acceptance to the University; 2) an application submitted to the Music Department; 3) audition (live or tape); and 4) financial need.

Transfer Opportunity Scholarships

Available to sophomore and junior transfer students who have demonstrated scholastic achievement at an accredited community college, and intend to pursue a bachelor's degree full-time.

Phi Theta Kappa

Transfer students who list their participation (for at least one year) in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

***Outside Scholarship Opportunities exist through many organizations within your community, and we encourage you to pursue them whenever possible. Contact your guidance counselor or check with service organizations such as Knights of Columbus, Rotary Club, and Elks Club. Other possible sponsors include employers, parents' employers, trade associations, banks, credit unions, corporations, schools, and churches.
