Name: Chris Frye

Education: 2003 Ph.D. in Sport Administration at University of Northern Colorado; 2000 M.A. in Athletic Administration at Gonzaga University; 1994 B.S. in Exercise Science at Western Washington University

Biography: Dr. Chris Frye received his Ph.D. in Sports Management from the University of Northern Colorado with an emphasis in Statistic Research Methods. He received his Masters Degree in Athletic Administration from Gonzaga University and gained valuable experience as the Marketing and Development graduate assistant for the University's Athletic Department from 1999-2001. Dr. Frye currently works as the Director of Sport Marketing and Research for the Spokane Regional Sports Commission. In this role, he markets Spokane to national governing bodies with the primary objective to host their sporting events. Additionally, he researches such events for their economic value and return on investment. As an adjunct professor for the Sport and Physical Education Department, Dr. Frye has played an integral role in teaching Sport Management classes such as Promotions, Facilities, and Finance--both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Chris and his wife Nicole, a school teacher, have a young daughter named Cecelia.

Name: Patti Richards

Education: Doctorate degree in Higher Education from Washington State University.  Bachelors and masters degrees from Eastern Washington University in Community Health Education and College Instruction.

Biography: Dr. Richards is currently working for Spokane Regional Health District as an Emergency Preparedness and Response Specialist and the Strategic National Stockpile Coordinator for Region 9 of Washington. She is also currently certified as an Emergency Medical Technician and a Senior EMS Instructor and enjoys teaching in that topic area.
