Master of Accountancy

Gonzaga University's Master of Accountancy program prepares students for the rapidly changing accounting environment and the dynamic nature of the accounting profession. Gonzaga University's accounting program is accredited by the AACSB.

Statistics published annually by the NASBA reveal that Gonzaga MAcc students consistently perform significantly above the national average on all sections of the Uniform CPA examination. Gonzaga students regularly rank in the top ten passage rates for Washington State.

The MAcc program offers two areas of specialization that allow students to tailor coursework to their career goals and interests. The two areas of specialization are Taxation and Professional Accounting.  Each specialization consists of 7 core credits and 23 credits in the area of specialization for 30 credits total of 600-level graduate courses. 

Students must also complete foundation requirements as prerequisites to taking the related core course(s) in the MAcc program as outlined in the  MAcc Course Planning Sheet.
